Ages 5–9
Kids BJJ
An introduction to Jiu Jitsu for younger children. Ask us about a first session and let us know if your child is new to martial arts.
Ages 10–14
Juniors BJJ
A programme for older children to continue learning and developing their skills. Tell us about any previous training so we can guide you.

Enquire with your child’s age and any experience. We’ll help you choose a suitable session and confirm what to wear, what to bring and the arrival arrangements before your £5 trial.

Does my child need previous experience?
No previous experience is needed to enquire about a trial. Tell us that your child is a beginner and we’ll help you find a starting point.
Which age group should I choose?
Our timetable lists Kids for ages 5–9 and Juniors for ages 10–14. If your child is outside these ages or you’re unsure which group suits them, contact us for guidance.
Are instructors DBS checked?
The academy’s instructors are DBS checked, registered and insured with the UKBJJA. You can read more on our instructors page.
What if my child feels nervous?
Let us know when you enquire. We can talk through the first visit and answer your questions before you come to the academy.
How much is a trial?
All kids and juniors trial classes are £5. Contact us to arrange a suitable session.
