Kids Classes

Priority in the kids classes for them to learn discipline while having fun and enjoying themselves (yes you can have both!). Kids will learn valuable self defence techniques in a safe environment as well as the discipline and structure that will benefit them in all walks of life. Most of all they will learn to love embracing challenges and learning to work to overcome them. For those that demonstrate the commitment and aptitude there is also a kids competition team that competes regionally and nationally.

Fundamentals Classes

Greatness in any field is built on sound fundamentals. The fundamentals classes are designed to provide the solid foundations on which world class Jiu Jitsu skills must be built. Popular with beginner and advanced students alike, priority in these classes will be given to beginners.

Gi Classes

Gi classes are conducted in the Gi (or Kimono). This allows the use of grips and submissions using the Gi which can simulate clothing in a self defence situation. Gi classes focus on self defence as well as competition jiu jitsu applications.

No Gi Class

No Gi grappling is increasing in popularity both within it’s own right as a sport and for it’s application to MMA. No Gi classes are conducted in grappling gear as opposed to the kimono and teach students how to adapt their Jiu Jitsu for use without the grips that the Gi offers. The curiculum covers all No Gi rulesets and grappling for MMA.

MMA Classes

MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) classes are for those interested in competing in or just learning the sport of mixed martial arts. They incorporate standing striking skills, wrestling, submissions and striking on the ground.
